In this modo user group meeting Curt Thurston discussed one of modo’s unique features, falloffs. Thanks to everyone who attended and thanks Curt for the great presentation!
Today’s meeting was kicked off by Jim Langman giving a very impressive and interesting walk through of how he uses uvs, morph maps and lighting for his product visualization. It was followed up with many great questions from users. I then gave a quick demo showing how to create a uv, adjust it with falloffs, import it into photoshop for texturing and then using the texture in modo. We had some great input from Warner McGee and other forum regulars. We’ll post the videos soon. Thanks everyone for attending and joining in.
